They say time can make us forget but the question is how long can we bear the pain of holding on at both ends of the string? How will we know which ones really matter to us? How will we know it what we are doing is right for us and worth it? What if that is the only one which could make us happy but we really can’t have it?

There are instances in people’s lives that they do something opposite of what they really want. It’s not that they are hypocrites or something but they are just in the confusion between pursuing or forgetting.

But really how can we say if that something is worth pursuing or just meant to be forgotten? There is no certain justification but ask yourself, which can truly make you happy. However, the decision does not always lie on you alone. At times, people get affected by it too. It is not bad to be selfish at times but you have to weigh between your love for the people affected and your love for yourself. Are you ready to give up you happiness for the sake of your loved ones? Are they worth the pain? You have to learn how to value.

However, giving up is never easy. Some say it is even not in the choices. Giving up and letting go does not end there. There are regrets and what ifs. There will always be that “should have been”. At the end of the day, it will never fail to haunt you. Why have you given up when you have held on for so long? But sometimes holding on is not the only sign of strength. Sometimes, it’s giving up and letting go which matters because in it you have learned acceptance.

Everyone has the right to be stupid, But it’s very clear that you’re abusing the privilege.
